Background Information :

Attached you will find the Board’s Annual Agenda for the 2014 – 2015 Fiscal Year. The agenda lists the projected meeting dates, places, special events, and items to be discussed at each Board meeting. Although the agenda is subject to change, it gives us written direction as to when certain items will come before the Board for discussion and action. The Annual Agenda presented is required by Board Policy #1.403, which provides, “At the beginning of each fiscal year, the Board shall adopt an annual planning calendar, stating month-by-month actions required by law and those required to carry out the Board's annual goals and objectives and the State Board of Education's performance standards. In addition, the annual agenda shall designate dates to monitor/review designated sections of the Board Policy Manual and to evaluate progress of programs for student achievement.”

Staff Recommendation:

I recommend adoption of the Annual Agenda for the 2014 – 2015 Fiscal Year.
